Global Grant Project “All For Her”

The “All For Her” project is one of the most significant humanitarian projects in the recent history of the Rotary Club of Niš. Carried out during the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 Rotary years through The Rotary Foundation’s Global Grant program, the project aimed to improve the prevention and early detection of breast cancer.

Despite the challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Rotary Club of Niš, together with its partners, succeeded in carrying out a project worth approximately 48,000 euros. Thanks to this project, the Clinical Center Niš received a donation of a modern medical device for the early detection of breast cancer, improving the diagnostic capacity of one of the most important health institutions in southern Serbia.

The significance of the project goes beyond the value of the donated equipment itself. Early detection of breast cancer is one of the key factors in successful treatment, which is why the project had a direct impact on improving health care and the quality of life of a large number of women in the region.

“All For Her” is an example of successful cooperation between the local community, international Rotary partners and The Rotary Foundation, as well as confirmation of the long-standing commitment of the Rotary Club of Niš to supporting health institutions and projects of lasting value to society.

During the project period, the Rotary Club of Niš became a 100% Paul Harris Fellow Club and was named the most successful club in District 2483, further confirming the quality of its work and the significance of the results achieved.
